Sara Burns

Sara Burns is a partner of Triangle Consulting. She pioneered a practical outcomes approach for voluntary organisations in the early 1990s and has worked in this field ever since.

Her early work showed how outcomes could benefit service providers and their clients, developed accessible ways forward and won Alcohol Concern the Charity Awards in 2000.

Sara is author of a number of publications on outcomes, including Managing Outcomes: a guide for homelessness organisations (PDF) and Explaining the difference your project makes: a BIG guide to using an outcomes approach (PDF).

She has supported an extensive range of voluntary, community and statutory organisations and funders with outcomes evaluation and to implement an outcomes approach, including the BIG Lottery Fund, Christian Aid, Sure Start, Guinness Partnership - formerly Guinness Trust, Help the Aged and the Camden BME capacity building project.

She is currently leading courses in mindfulness based approaches to stress and has recently published a book on mindfulness and parenting.
