Outcomes tools and publications

Triangle has developed a range of publicly available outcomes tools and publications.

The Outcomes Star:  A tool for measuring the outcomes of work with homeless people. There are alternative versions available for women’s refuges, young parents and drug and alcohol projects.  The tool is supported by guidance for managers and front-line workers, a training manual and database for analysing results. Public and in-house training courses are also available.

The Recovery Star: A version of the Outcomes Star specifically tailored to the needs of people with mental health issues.

The Employability Map: A tool for measuring the outcomes of projects supporting individuals into training and employment.

The Sustainable Sunshine: Tools for both frontline and second-tier/support organisations to measure progress towards greater financial sustainability.

The Climate Change Thermometer: A tool for working with young people who are becoming advocates for more environmentally sustainable living within their families and peer groups.

The Workforce Wheel: A tool for voluntary organisations to measure where they are now and progress made in improving all aspects of workforce development, including leadership, line management and recruitment.

Coaching Outcomes: A simple tool to capture the outcomes of coaching young people in Brent.

A Practical Guide to Outcomes Tools: a guide to choosing an outcomes tool for your organisation which explains the different purposes and characteristics of outcomes tools.

A Review of Outcomes Tools for the Homelessness Sector: a review of 18 tools in current use in homelessness and related organisations.  The review describes each tool and grades various aspects of the tool according to a clearly defined rating system.
