Joy MacKeith
Joy MacKeith is a Director of Triangle Consulting and co-author of all of the Outcomes Star tools. She worked in homelessness and international development before going on to teach at the Centre for Civil Society at the London School of Economics.
Her publications there included pieces on the management of NGOs and the tension between fund-raising and service delivery. More recently she was a Director of Compass Partnership where she worked for seven years with a wide range of leading national voluntary organisations at Chief Executive and Board level, including leading national review of Strategy for the Samaritans and managing the evaluation of the British Bosnian and Kosovan Refugee Programmes.
She then went on to form Triangle with Sara and Kate where she leads on Triangle's work on Payment by Results, validation of Stars and the development of partnerships outside the UK. She has written several articles on the Outcomes Star including one about the Star as a Participatory Approach to Assessment and Measurement in the Journal of Housing Care and Support (January 2012)
She is currently training to become a focusing practitioner.
