Integrity and ethics
We pride ourselves on integrity in all aspects of our work. We only work with organisation’s whose mission we share and we use that mission to guide what we do. With every solution we ask ourselves “Is this serving our client’s mission?” If the answer is no, then we think again.
In practical terms what this means is:
- That we will only take on an assignment if we feel properly equipped to do the job well. We always refer on to others when we feel they may be better able to meet your needs
- We think through with you your need and the best way it can be met, rather than simply taking on a piece of work as presented, only to find out later that it isn’t really addressing the issues
- In research and consultation we seek to involve all stakeholders in the process – particularly service users. We have found their perspective to be crucial in creating solutions that really work in practice.
In everything we do, we see ourselves as participants who are personally affected by the issues rather than professionals who are somehow separate. For example in our climate change work we recognise that we too have a carbon footprint. In our work in the mental health field we recognise that we too grapple with the challenges of modern life. This perspective takes us closer to the issues, helps us bring more of ourselves, our skills and insights to the work and create more authentic solutions.
